You will spearhead and execute comprehensive field surveys, encompassing habitats and a variety of species, while managing projects from inception to completion. Your proficiency in research, data management, and client liaison will be instrumental in crafting high-calibre technical reports and ecological assessments.
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- A robust professional background of 3-4 years in ecological consultancy or a related field.
- A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification, underpinned by a strong academic foundation.
- Exceptional report writing skills, delivering clarity and quality.
- A profound knowledge of UK flora and fauna.
- Extensive experience in UK botanical and faunal identification.
- Expertise in Phase 1 habitat surveys and protected species surveys, including mitigation and licensing.
- A comprehensive understanding of UK wildlife legislation and policy.
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, showcasing teamwork and superior communication skills.
- A full driving licence and a car insured for business use.
